The Song

There's this one song that embodies almost 10 years of the most significant relationship of my life. Not just the lyrics - the melody, the rhythm, the feeling in it. My mind's been occupied lately, but this is always there somewhere. "Never gonna be easy, was it? Didn't think it'd be so much fun!". It was there when we started and still there 10 years in. Has to be special:)  This deserves it's own post in my "listening lately" list.

I like weird things

That moment, when you walk past someone you know very well but  who doesn't know you (at least is not supposed to know you), and they look right at you and smile, with that knowing sparkle in their eyes. I almost fell over, but managed to smile back and walk on. Only one thought in my mind - who told him about me? And more importantly - WHAT did they tell him about me?!? The dangerous life of a former stalker/groupie and the memories of stupid, but incredibly fun stuff once done. Giggled to myself while I walked on and suppressed the urge to look back. And walked into my first real life crush, out shopping with his wife. Some days are crazier than others. Or maybe I just don't get out of the house often enough.
